Future Steps has been successfully bringing ballroom dance to the classroom for
the past 4 years. More than
8000 children will have passed through our program by June 2009. And now, you can come to us at our huge Studio in Burlington for 1/2 or full-day workshop for students Grades 1-8.
The program benefits students by enhancing physical coordination, building
partnership, cooperation and
team skills, as well as increasing self-confidence
and encouraging social interaction within the class and at
other social functions. We adhere to all guidelines with the new Ontario Arts Curriculum for dance.
Our core program teaches ballroom and latin dancing in the school system in a special multi-session format culminating in a very unique performance for parents. We teach from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and often times a whole school at a time. We are happy to take on partial schools though. Many schools have us as part of the regular school syllabus associated with particular grade levels on a yearly basis.
We take great pride in providing every school with the best quality program possible. Our list of references is extensive and crosses multiple school boards in southern Ontario.

NEW Studio Ballroom / Latin Workshops
No gym space time available? Check out our NEW Daytime Dance Workshops at our Studio for Grades 1-8. Bring your students to us for a half day or full day dance workshop filled with great dance instruction and creative dance choreography. Our Studio is the size of a large gym and we can book up to 100 students at a time with an excellent instructor to student ratio.
