The Burlington Social Club is host to some of the GTA's best social and ballroom / latin dances. The dances, held every weekend throughout the year, have been popular in Burlington for over 18 years. The crowds come out every weekend for great dancing, wonderful people and fabulous food.

Friday

Our Friday night dance (7:30p.m. - 11p.m.) is a wonderful way to enter the social dance world.  New students find this dance an excellent one to practice their moves without feeling intimidated.  Experienced dancers will find a wonderful venue for practicing without the "bumper car" effects of more crowded dances.  DJ's Rick Seguin and Bill Novak Jr provide the dance with tempo ballroom and latin music.  Studio instructors host this dance.

Friday dances are held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month.  See below for dates.  Each dance is preceeded by a FREE 1/2 hour lesson at 7:30p.m.

Cost:  $13 per person includes the free lesson

Saturday

The Saturday night dance (7:30p.m.-12:00a.m.) is popular amongst the 50+ crowd with a high percentage of singles attending to and mix and mingle. Continental DJ Services provides the dance with primarily social music with touches of ballroom and latin music thrown in for good measure. The weekly ballroom line dance series led by Carol Anne McCarthy is a fixture enjoyed by the regulars every Saturday night.

A cold buffet is served at 10:30p.m. to sustain dancers for the rest of the night.

Sunday

The Sunday night dance is strictly for ballroom and latin dancers. The evening commences at 6:00p.m. with a hot dinner rivalling many of the surrounding family restaurants. Christa Novak and Rick Seguin are the regular DJ's and both play a wonderful mix of ballroom and latin music for the enjoyment of the dancers.

You will find both advanced and beginner dancers enjoying the opportunity to practice their moves from 7:00 to 10:00p.m. after the dinner. And of course, the ballroom line dancing takes its turn for a couple of sessions, again led by Carol Anne McCarthy.

Cost: $17 for dinner + dance, $10 for dance only.
